VERNON, BRITISH COLUMBIA - GWR Resources Inc. (TSX Venture: GWQ) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. John van Driesum as a director of the board to fill one of the vacancies created by the resignations of Messrs. Eisler and James. Mr. van Driesum has also been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of GWR Resources Inc. 

Mr. van Driesum was born in 1958 in Prince George, B.C. He holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria. His corporate experience includes directorships, corporate counsel work, and executive management for both public and private companies. Recently, he was instrumental in the sale of businesses for $275M and $375M and is presently involved in development and sale of major resource opportunities. In addition to experience in corporate finance, mining development and litigation, Mr. van Driesum has broad experience in all aspects of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, land use issues, corporate acquisition and divestiture, utilities development, construction and First Nations’ participation in resource development. Mr. van Driesum has lived in British Columbia for the majority of his life, aside from periods working in Israel, England and Australia and is delighted to participate in developing GWR Resources Inc. for the benefit of the people of the Caribou Chilcotin, the people of Sainte Sabine and many surrounding communities in Quebec and all shareholders and employees of GWR Resources Inc.
